After searching and searching i still cannot find a clear cut answer so maybe someone here might have some experience with this...

I have stance aluminum subframe bushings for my s13, got them pressed in the subframe all nice and dandy BUT there is a visible gap where it looks like the bushing is a bit short compared to the subframe? i dont see how it will sit flush on the car and might cause vertical play? i emailed stance and they said once they are on the car they will be fine and they are designed that way to raise the subframe. here are some pics

Any help or insight will be appreciated. makes me wish i would of just got normal ones but i felt raising the subframe would be an added benefit..

There's a slight gap there to insure when tightening the subframe bolts that the subframe touches first the the solid bushings will wedge/smash the subframe up against the body preventing any type of movement.

Had the solid bushing been flush it would allow for a slight bit of movement because instead of being wedge the subframe would then be just snug with the solid bushing taking most of the tension.
