push the little button on the harness while pullin it out, it should come right out just like any other harness.
Attempting to install an alternator, need help
Ok, 89 240, KA24E. Trying to replace the alternator. I have everything off except that damn clip with the two wires on it. How the hell do you get it off?

I got it eventually. I think it was the fact that the whole alternator was covered in grease about an inch thick that was making it so hard to take off.
hey man i replaced my alternator on my ka24e last week. mine was a pain in the ass to put back on the bracket. i would suggest connecting the mounting bolts first and then the wires. if u have any other questions lmk. good luck
