Im totally into 1/8th scale RC cars which are about the same size and complex in their own right but seeing the complexity and accuracy of that mans work is awe inspiring im floored

There are people in this world that are truely dedicated. Him being one of them. I think ferrari should seriously give him one. For all the research he did. And the designs he made.

I imagine that full size cars would be much easier to make, provided he had the means to do so. Think about how fragile some of the parts on that must have been. What amazes me is the sound it makes when the engine gets revved...fucking incredible.

 

I agree, I think ferrari should offer to trade him his creation for a real ferrari.

 

if he can mold a real working flat 12 with 4 valves per head, and a working gear box with reverse from scratch. he can build a ferrari kit car in 6 months. lolz. that is fucking incredible

OMG! I really do think Ferrari needs to give him a car. I mean... He's earned one if you ask me! Awesome piece of work! If only someone would be dedicated to the 240 like that.

****** this video is worth the download of realplayer, damn the guy even shows some of the engine's inards, shit he shows the working gearbox with the little pin size stick shifting gears and stuff. It shows him turning it on and reving it! Wow! freakin exact leman's replica type of car and it's so little

 

real player is ass.

he should start a company selling models of those little things, like kits for them, if he put the work in, he might as well make some money

 

I think it's kinda hard to gather a bunch of people that are willing to make a ferrari 12 cylinder engine that has the whole valve train and all,if the average person these days can't put a full size car together how in the hell can they pull something off with swiss watch detail. It's so rediculously intricate, it's why I recommend you watch the video to gain a complete understanding of what we're talking about here ******, besides you can always un-install realplayer anyways but oh well if you won't than it's your loss

 

Cool car but....do you think maybe the guy has a bit too much time on his hands? Some of us have to work for a living.

 

thats why it took him over a decade to complete the car, I think if he was on it like that it would have taken him a shorter time. It's a good idea for him to start his own business,but what type of market is that? And there aren't machines that can make those intricate pieces he made by hand, the machines would have to be developed for this. Unless he gets someone like ferrari to sponser him if he had a business model, than I don't see it happening.
