Had a few clutch install questions, this is my 1st time removing an RWD transmission and I had a few ?'s:
1) Do I have to entirely remove the transmission or can I keep it connected to the driveshaft and just lower it and remove the clutch then line it back up?
2) do I need to drain the gear oil (if I can go the route above) or will it spill out through the front bell housing? Where do I drain from and where do I put fresh oil in from? I think I see a little screw on the underside I can stick a racthet into, tell me that's the drain plug and not the fill plug?
thanks anyone. I've read about the two bolts up top being a major pain, can't wait.
