Clutch Problem

Hey guys, I recently finished up my KA24E engine for track. I got a stage one clutch and flywheel kit and installed it.. when i bolted the engine to the tranny I noticed the fork that pushing the throw out bearing to the clutch was alittle far from the piston that pushes on it. But i pumped the brakes anyways to see if it would reach the fork and engage. But the fork was too far out and the piston just popped out and fluid came out along with it.. I dont know why that fork is not reaching the clutch.. Thanks for looking, hope to hear from some of you !!
