If Megan coilovers are too expensive for you, I would wait until you can afford atleast them, they are usually only around 1000$ shipped to your door. They are pretty much the cheapest, best your going to get. If you can't afford them get Tanaka Struts/ KYB AGX/Koni Yellows with some Swift Springs or Eibach's. That's your best bet.
^This...megan's the cheapest end you'll find. If that's too expensive, you can't afford drifting...

Repairs, damage, tires, repairs, alignment arms, alignment....the list goes on.

Megans, apexi, and greddy are all the exact same thing, made be the same company just different colors/stickers/boxes.
This is fairly common knowlege.

With that said, i can get you the "megan street" type coilover for around $400 shipped. You can ask around on this forum, I and my business are very legit and we recently are starting to stock some suspension parts.

Shoot me a pm if your interested.
compared to megan tracks.

NOT A KNOCKOFF, made on the same line at the same time as megan, apexi, greddy, and buddyclub.

With no adjustability or any idea what the internals of these coilovers have. Sure, they look close to the same, but are they?

You get what you pay for.
noo 4x4 is right there the same. all made at the same time, then just painted different colors.

thats what I have read anyways, quite a few times.
Thanks. Some people will never believe it, while other people will realize that even allot of the name brand jdm stuff was made in tawian and china.

Edit:and they will save money

The moral isnt just go buy ebay stuff, but do your reasearch and find out where stuff comes from before you pay 2x the price for somethig.
yah I was suprised when I first read that. I did some searching around hoping to prove it wrong, but I couldnt ha. There are quite a few discussions about it laying around.

No adjustability on a coilover is useless. Useless product, false advertising and something should be done about it tbh, before anyone gets suckered into this. You can tell that they are weaker, not as strong and you know what? Chinese people make shit that looks exactly identical to the original products.. Does it mean they are the same, or anywhere near the same quality? FUCK NO. Use your brain.. Buy whats been tested and proven reliable.. not some bullshit non adjustable coilovers for 400$ (LOL) That "SOME PEOPLE" have heard might be okay...... I'd rather buy an OEM replacement for my suspension before those.

Uh no, 400 isnt bad for a new coil/dampner set that is ride height adjustable only. Megans and apexi's are pretty much the same thing just a different sticker. And a 240 for dd and no track duty; will work fine with what he's selling.

Alot of you people saying 'are pretty much the same thing' I guarantee none of you would buy them either, I dunno why your blowing smoke up this guys ass saying they are good.

My 240sx was probably made on the same line as a Nissan Moco, doesn't mean they are near the same fucking thing.
WARNING: long post, but I assure everyone its well worth the read.

You sir are very uneducated in the argument you have entered yourself into. Im going to go ahead and call you a noob now and poke at your 1 month membership here as well as your 24 posts just because it seems very fitting to do so.
You obliviously have no idea (due to your lack of being on these forums or in the nissan scene possibly) who I am, what company I work for, how many owners of major companies that deal with these nissans I talk to on a regular basis. What products I distribute and well for that matter what I know and what I know you dont know.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Brandon Ater. I started selling NIStune when it first came available in the United States. I teamed up with my engine builder and his company, AutoVaughn Performance to distribute Nistune because it got too big for me to handle on my own. We are now the North American distributor for NIStune and have the highest sales in the United States and out sale most other nistune shops world wide.
Do you know how you do something like that? By practicing good business, not selling crap products, being honest, and offering the best prices possible.
We are NOT going to change that now since it has worked so well for us in the past.

I would also like to mention a few of the companies I have accounts with.
act, AEM, aeromotive, apex'i, arp, B&M, DC sports, DEI, Eagle, exedy, Hawk, HKS, JE, KOYO, Moroso, msd, power slot, samco sport, sparco, & synapse to name a few. You obviously know nothing about what it takes to carry some of these products and its not just money.

You will notice I bolded apex'i. We also have seen our fair share of megans. You can see that the pictures were side by side with megans. You might also realize (if you might have been around for a while) that I have megan tracks on my car. YOU are the one spreading lies because these ARE NOT MADE MORE CHEAPLY. I have a very good name and I will not tarnish that with lies and bad products.
Have you ever heard of kw suspension? Im a dealer for them as well. Very expensive, very well thought out stuff, very nice ride ect. except many of their shocks are not adjustable. You should probable call them out on that, Im sure they would love to hear from you......
The truth is your average joe dosent set their suspension up correctly (adjustment wise) ever when all the adjustments are there for them to make. Did you know some companies just set it up decent from the factory and leave it be so the end user dosent screw it up and blame the equipment?
Also, dealing with the point you made about a non adjustible shock being useless. I could argue that a 8/6 spring rate is useless on a race car. Most coilovers you buy come with those spring rates, yet those spring rates are far too soft for track use. With that said I could argue that coilovers are useless for the streets, because, well, THEY ARE!
The thing is people are still going to buy them because they want them. They want the harsh sporty ride, they want the car lowered on the ground. Guess what, you cant change the world.

What I can do is provide good products at the lowest price possible. You can rest assured that we did mark the price up on these coilovers. You can also rest assured that greddy, megan, apexi gets these coilovers for less than we do because of the amount they buy at a time. You can also rest assured that your paying over a 50% mark up when you purchase from them.
Here is the company that makes all of them.
Taiwan Bor-Chuann (BC-racing)

There are Nistune dealers in canada, but as far as our other products no. Were not scared to ship to canada though. We ship world wide.
