s14 sr20 blacktop stock internals all bolt ons boost up to 12-13psi . stock compression 8.5:1, stock head gasket 86mm bore .8mm thickness >>> would it be a better choice to run an apexi headgasket in 87mm bore .6 thickness (raise compression to 8.96:1), or better to run a cosworth head gasket 87mm bore 1.1mm thickness (lower compression to 8.28:1). i know its safer to lower the compression, but how much power should i actually expect to lose?? is it really that dangerous to bump the compression up to 8.96?? thanks....
