We'll need a lot more info than what you provided. What motor are you running? What chassis are you using? What's your end goal with the build? I know you posted in the S13 forum, but your extreme lack of providing info about your desired outcome will not help us at all.
5.3 on 7psi boost. end goal is for the diff to not blow up.
have been through 3 diffs in the past year. looking for a good solid combo that is going to maintain

My 2 cents....solid spool diff + 350z axles
have been through 3 diffs in the past year. looking for a good solid combo that is going to maintain

Which diffs did you blow up?

I had a Cusco Mz with the stock axles and stock housing that was handling 300 wheel horsepower (through an R32 trans with stock s14 driveshaft) just fine until an "incident" with a curb shoved an axle through it. Currently using a Kaaz but I prefer the Cusco.

I mainly prefer the Cusco because it was adjustable when installing to 1, 1.5, or 2 way lockup. I used 1.5 (full lock on acceleration, moderate lock on deceleration), but the Kaaz that was not adjustable and a way shipped. I didn't feel like waiting for the return process, so used the way.

2 way (full lock on accel and decel) makes curved off ramps more exciting than I'd like in everyday use.

DriveshaftShop.com has 240sx axles rated to 1k horsepower. Stock axles were sufficient for my limited drifting use. So, I don't have personal experience with them, but they seem to be well respected for over a decade in driveshafts and axles.

Three days, get your panties out of a wad. Admin editing doesn't work worth a crap on Tapatalk and I don't sit on this forum all weekend..
I’ve heard of some people thatve done ls swaps using the Q45 diff with 350z axles for the S13s. There may be some slight modifications you need to make to the stubs though because the 350z axles are a little too long.

I'm going to second the Q45 diff.

"
The R200 found in the NA Z32, 240SX, J30, etc... is a pretty stout piece. However, with enough torque, traction, and a heavy enough vehicle, it'd be pretty easy to snap an output shaft or axle.

The R200 found in the Q45 and R32/R33/R34 is stronger than the ones listed above, because the output shafts have more splines and they use larger, stronger, ball/cage type axles. This is the R200 of choice for any high torque/high power S-chassis car since it bolts in. "

Although I don’t have mine up and running yet, I have a Q45 diff. What you want is a 1990-1996 Q45 diff. You then need to swap the diff cover with the S13 diff cover so that you can bolt the diff into the S13 subframe. For axles, you need a 300ZX TT driver side axle on your driver side and a Q45 (1990-1996) driver side axle on your passenger side. These are then run with 1990-1996 Q45 or 300ZX TT hubs/wheel bearings. Keep in mind that you will now be five lug in the rear. You can either go with five lug S14 rear brake rotors for a bolt-in affair, drill your stock four lug rotors, or upgrade your rear brakes to something else. And you will now need five lug wheels. If you have not already done so, now is a good time to go five lug in the front as well.

So how much power can this handle? I have not seen a number. But remember that this diff comes from a 4000 pound car with a 300HP V8. Also, even if this diff is ultimately no stronger than a stock S13 diff (it is still a R200), the stub axles, the axles themselves, and the hubs are a whole lot beefier. This should count for something.

One thing to keep in mind is that using this diff changes your final drive from 4.08:1 to a taller 3.54:1. This can make your car more sluggish if you are running a stock KA. But it is ultimately helpful if you have turbocharged your KA or are running an SR, LS, or RB swap.
