Difference in 92-94 and 95-98 ka24de cams?

I was talking to a guy the other day and he told me that the cams in the 92-94 ka's gave you more high end power then the 95-98?

91-94 = intake duration of 240deg, exhaust duration of 248 degrees.

95-98 = intake and exhaust duration of 232 degrees.

Lift profiles are the same between the different KA cams.
