dual cam or single cam? it will respond, but by how much? depends on how well your engine is running.

The KA24 is just a beefed up L16 with more electrical crap on it LOL!!

 

DOHC, the motor runs good.. so would headers be significant gain?

 

I hear from many reliable sources that Headers are the BEST bang for the buck N/A bolt on. It supposedly makes a HUGE difference.

 

Since you are new, I sugest you hold off on anything until you decide what you definately want to do. My prediction is you will be back in forth between a million different options (n/a bolt ons, no ka-t, no sr20, no rb20, no ca18 and over and over and over).<-been through my head 10 million times.

 

Best advice given. I decided to hold off until I decided... but I never decided. Ha. I just stuck with suspension though.

 

If your not sure, holding on wouldn't be bad.
But If you dont mind a gain in noise, put the headers on, you'll notice.

 

Headers and exhaust will free up power after 5000rpm where stock ka's run out of oomph. A 3" turbo exhaust will shift the powerband higher. You will feel the difference. The gain will be 10-15 useable daily driven whp. If you want REAL power go ka-t or sr and start from there.

 

a healthy KA can push 200CHP for sub-$800 with full exhaust and tune.... searcht he forum for the link I posted a million times.

 

for the ka with bolt ons some guy did and got like 180 or something? he even did a dyno with it. SEARCH.. you'll find it..
