Does a non abs driveshaft and an abs driveshaft make a difference? my car is non abs and a couple of my buddies are saying that I can use an abs driveshaft because it doesnt make that much of a difference. I want to know if it makes that big of a difference. I heard that in the abs cars, that the differential is a little farther back than in the non abs cars, is that true?

I believe the ABS drive shaft is shorter.
These may help.

One-piece aftermarket driveshafts come in two flavors - ABS car and non-ABS car. Stock shafts do too, for that matter. The ABS sensor is in the diff casing, and makes the casing longer, so the ABS driveshaft is correspondingly shorter.

You could swap an ABS driveshaft to a non ABS car, but you could not swap a non ABS driveshaft to an ABS car.
