Dual Filament Headlight Bulbs: i.e. H4's

So this though came across my mind, would the bulb be able to handle having the Lo & Hi beam circuit on? Reason I ask is because the S14 Low-Beams go dim when the High are thrown on pretty much making them useless. Just had a random though about running the Lo/Hi circuit both at the same time on the H4's but wasn't sure if the bulb would be able to handle that kind of power or not.

Well they have there own circuit cause there's 3 Prongs. One Hi, One Lo, and One Ground. Pretty sure the harness would be fine, not like I'm asking for dbl the power out of a single wire.

Only thing is I don't want to try it and blow the bulb in my housing, that'll suck ass. Maybe I'll try it on my friends Tercel and buy him H4 conversions if it blows. Cause on his Tercel I notice it more cause when you flip on the highs you can see way ahead but the ground in front of you damn near goes dark again lol. Was just a though.

Are we talking the High/Lo where the High is the HID and the Lo is regular Halogen? Because if so, that's what I have and the halogen just scatters everywhere. The interesting part, however, is that the high beam indicator is barely visible, almost as if the car's straining to light that particular indicator. The rest of the lights are all fine.

i've wondered this as well. i wanted to find a way to run both my high beams and my low beams at the same time @ full intensity (running a DDM HID Kit on the Lows, and have yellow high beams) or find a way to run a switch for the highs that allows me to run them at a reduced intensity, and run my lows too. Ive seen that on a few accords/integras around my area.
