welp, just like the title says, i pull the e-brake all the way up and it only keeps the car in place, if i'm moving i'll pull it and it doesn't lock the rear tires. is there anyway to recalibrate it or make the cable tighter so that it will work again?

i have the same problem too.

usually people get new calipers, n brake pads to make em lock up. n u can adjust the nut on the handle to pull the cable harder.

it really is a shot in the dark to make it work. either itll work after u replace everything, or itll work out of the blue like mine did haha.

if u wanna stay regular ebrake id suggest getting project mu d1 pads, cause they are freaking amazing and lock up on point HARD.

if all else fails go CNC. which i might do soon.

Im gonna take a shot here and say this; I went to change my e- brake the other day and went to change it from underneath the car but thats not where the problem was so, I took out the middle panel in the car and figured that in order to tighten the e- brake there is a screw and you must screw it downwards. Correct me if Im wrong but it worked for me and I didnt have to change the e- brake cable.

hey if you do decide to go hydraulic me and my brother make these in our fab shop, a lot of local guys here are running them and love em, Ive got one in my race car. Me and a buddy tried cnc's a while back and they never worked the cylinders were shit, so we fabbed these up and use wilwood cylinders on them, if anyone is intrested in some feel free to PM me.

btw the handle is exactly 16in long, the angle of the pic makes them look super long
