Those two pieces will probably end up being close to, if not more, than your shifter

installing issues
did any of you guys with the ebay shifters have any problems installing at first? I've put mine in a couple of times but always end up taking it out cause it tries to pop right out of gear when ever I take off. Also grinds sometimes when im trying to put it in a gear.
Like ill literally have to force it to stay in first gear when i take off. 2nd seems ok but tries to pop out in 3rd.
Also were you supposed to keep that retainer pin (see pic) that was with the stock shifter with everything or just leave it off. (I tried both)
It seems to shift into gear just fine and smooth before you actually turn on the engine and try to take off....what am i doing wrong here?

+1. You should see how mine sounds with the new OEM bushing, and the lightweight flywheel.. car sounds like a damn race car. i get gear rattle between 2-3k rpm when decel, and the infamous rattle/resonance at 5k. Its a B&M. with poly motor mounts.
It'll probably get worse once i put in a solid trans mount
