Whats up everybody!

Finally got my S14 today . Its a 95, its Burgundy and it has 275xxx miles on it. I bought it at a salvage auction with a little bit of front end damage. The only real thing that is messed up is the driver side fender, bit of the hood and the bumper. Lights are all good (they are all in the trunk, just ready to be put back on). Interior is clean as crap for a car with that many miles and with that age. I am planning on swapping a SR in the car. Its a automatic right now but plan on changing it to manual. I want to at least push 280-350hp :dancingco out of the engine (any ideas on achieving that goal would be greatly appreciated :supercool). I want to leave the aero OEM look with some nice 18's and nice drop. The car is probably going to be painted black. Here are some pics.....I probably will the sell the engine and the transmission, if anybody wants it, if they plan on rebuilding the thing (the salvage auction did state that when the car was received by them that it ran and drove) but I did not have a chance to test it since it did not have a battery when I got it. Well thanks for watching.

Pic's of update

Ok like I said, started working on the car. Got a lot done for the day and I am proud of myself. Oh and after looking around closer in the engine bay and under it, I think somebody changed the engine and tranny on this car, or just did a hell of a job on maintenance.

And then painted it with Flat Black Paint (i think it came out super clean after the Flat Black was applied)

Image

Found my second problem, not that bad of front damage easy fixable but got to get the engine out first and everything else in the engine bay to straighten it out

Other side of the bumper support bracket looks good

No one responded to that? Please don't hit the ball joints with a hammer!

Go to Autozone or Harborfreight and get something like a 3 jaw puller or ball joint puller or whatever you call the tool -- (I think if you have an air compressor you can also use some sort of fork with an air chisel, but that's beyond me. I think you can potentially damage the protective seal that goes around the joint?)

Something like this will probably separate those joints, but I could be wrong. However, I can tell you that you're going to damage the threads if you keep pounding on them.
Image

Anyway, enough rambling -- a place like Autozone will rent you the specific tool you need for that job for very little.

Thanks for the replies.

The protective seal is already damaged on the right hand side (thanks to me). I will go to Autozone this weekend and try to get the tool, if the tool don't work them I will have to follow 240fly advice. I worked on it today (mostly on the engine and exhaust). Pics later on tonight.

By the way 240fly your car is sexy.....where did you get the rims from? And what size are they? 700 is a nice ass deal for them.

^^^^Thanks dude

I bought it at a salvage auction. I almost got it for 425 (without auction fees) but right at the last second somebody raised the price :crazyrant and it went up to 650+plus auction cost=totaled to 820. So i was pretty happy with the price. I love working on the car....Nissan did a hell of a job on the car :thumbsup. But anyways its getting late gotta wake up early and work on it. Expect a lot of pics this weekend.

If anybody knows somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody (well you catch my drift) that needs any parts that I am not in need. The whole engine and tranny will be for sale. I'll sell it for cheap. I live in NC so let me know I will def. need the extra cash for parts. Night Folks!!!:supercool

P.S: Darkless & s14240sxsilvia......thanks for the support.

Yea we believe its not the first accident that it had, might have had another fender bender b/c under the car looks really good and i dont see anywhere else where its bent up or anything.

But i worked on it yesterday and today, got a lot done yesterday but today i broke one of brake metal lines......so after that i didnt work on it anymore but will have pics up later...i think i will let it rest until thursday. Its really close to getting the engine and tranny out so hopefully by next friday it will be out.

About the seals i will probably not try to take them out yet, we are suppose to build a garage so i need to be able to move it but that right hand ball joint i will have to replace but thats for later not worried about it yet. Alch i'll tell everyone except you next time hahaha jk but thanks for the support everyone

I havent even touched the title yet or went to the DMV. We have bought couple of salvaged cars from the auction that we bought this one and never had any problems, and thanks for the support.

Wow your an animal.
LOL, thanks Shwag, i looked at your car loved the front end conversion. I would keep that car

Looks good man, wish I picked my car up for 820. Keep up the good work.
I got lucky not a lot of front end damage so thats good, thanks for the support.

Well we are building a 2 car garage so the project will be sitting there for a bit until the garage is built. I gotta put my suspension back on so i can move the car around b/c its in the way right now. But thanks everyone for all the support, Darkless this includes you too. Later everyone.
