my front license plate has been attached using two sheet metal screws, problem is, after I took off the Used Car Lot license plate frame I found out that the screws do not hold very well at all, I could probably pull them out with very little force, my question is how do I go about mounting the front license plate now in a somewhat secure way. Also, Where can I get those sick looking silver Nissan or Nismo license plate frames. Thanx in advance

claim the plate as "Lost" or stolen at the DMV and dont put one on the front at all. i dont mean to advertise but, i think Phase 2 has some "JDM" mounting brackets also.

In the state of California you have to have a front plate with valid numbers, hence why I ask, I might try that reporting it "lost" thing though, where can I get these JDM mounting brackets?
I've always wondered about this. In California, do u have to have a front plate? Many newer cars these days don't have them...just curious.
NE1 got a ticket for not having a front plate in California?

I have gotten a fix-it ticket for no front plate driving my mom's car, but I fixed my front plate, I work at a bike shop as a mechanic, so I just drilled out and tapped the two holes to accept a 6mm stainless steel allen bolt, then I used our aqueous parts cleaner to shine up my license plate really nice, now its mounted all pro with stainless hardware, and it isnt loose or anything
