help me out...
i have a gas leak near the tank, only leaks when its running
im assuming its the fuel outlet hose but not sure myself...
also i have a walbro fuel pump, got it in antisipation of the SR but got
too ahead of myself :smacked49, but everything else is pretty much stock. will
that affect the car, or will the comp keep it in check, and maybe some other
things like emission or stuff like that?....
only have one pic might take more if needed...

overall...

yeah i need a new hose.....
ive been talkin to a friend of mine and he said that i could cut th damaged
area and insert a tube inbetween and use clamps....
not sure if this will work, but it seems like an easy fix....... i guess...:12dunno

Pull the fuel pump fuse from under the dash. That'll disable it.

If you need to drain the tank, drive around till the fuel light comes on and then leave the car idling in the driveway overnight.

well i just need th fuel out of th line...
if i pull th fuse and turn on the car will it run out of gas and use up any that might be in the line?
in the manual it says;
1. start engine
2. perform "fuel pressure release" in "work support" mode to release fuel pressur to zero
3. after engine stalls, crank engine two or three times
4. turn ignition switch off

not sure what #2 means. is it the ECU?

Well, you're done already, but the "proper" procedure per the FSM is to pull the pump fuse and run the engine until it won't start anymore. It makes the most godawful noises and shakes when it dies.

The "fuel pressure release" is if you have the no doubt expensive Nissan handheld computer that plugs into the ECU and lets you control all the maintenance and diagnostic procedures, it's sort of like a code puller on crack. The FSM flowcharts list the way to do it with the box and without it, one has a little icon of it and the other has the icon with a circle and a slash.
