All cellphone picutes sorry. But there she is. All $1,200 worth. I think she is decent. And after 2 hours of cleaning it looks alot better. Still have some more cleaning to do though. But so far i first need to get it registered. Then here is what i see so far, Radio/speakers, windshield, seats, dash, steering wheel, im going to change out all the fluids. And go from there. New brakes coming forsure. These suck! im thinking of going Q45. And also what headlights do you recomend? I put HIDs in my cousins s13 and the sucks still. So im thinking progectors are they way to go. Whats your input on it? what progector should i use too? i know there is a couple i can use. So any coments?

i dont wana be a downer but, i got mine f or 1650 the same year and everything with no rust dents and the interior was nicer it had a 107k idk if i got a great deal or what but i think u should have looked a little harder, but for the mileage and decent shape of the body i can see where ur going with it. but anyways good luck

Once the car is cleaned up and he posts pics of it then it'll be easier to tell. If those are the original miles and not just the mileage due to a faulty control cable, then (also depending on where he lives), it could be a good deal. Most 240s are over-priced because of the whole drifting scene and I know of places that would easily ask for double for a car in those conditions.

Here in Candyland they'd want $2,000 easy if it's running and full of cobwebs.

David: not anytime soon. first have to get registered and all that good stuff at the DMV then im need to do all the maitence. Then drop it and get wheels. But one day she will be RHD and Rb powered


projects13- yes i need an oem one. How much with shipping to 92336? and i dont believe the miles it says. too old for that. i think he went in and rolled it back or something. cause it needs a new head gasket cause its leaking. But havent went anywhere far yet so idk if it over heats and stff like that. But so far i hate the open diff! im gonna get it welded soon i can stand it.

farley- ive been looking for 2 years and waiting for a while. Shes a good deal for where i live (so cal) and im going to get new seats soon once i find some on craigslist. and a new dash and ceter consle (spelling)

KATO- yes i spend a total of three hours detailing and cleaning it out. took out all the seats and cleaned everything up. it looks alot better then it did. 1200 for a running 240 is a deal, over here you try to get a empty shell for 1k. so i did good. Its alot of work, but its from 1990. what do you expect?

So after a total of 11 hours im finished washing and detailing it. heres how it went. I took out all the seats and got a sponge and soad and scrubed the shit out the whole interior. I hated the way the car smelled, and seeing as i detail cars for money, i had to take time wuth my car. I vacumed twice yesterday and i think 6 more times today.Everytime i was done doing something it got dirty again. And yes i did do the carpet too. I Brought the water hose in the car nd everything hahaha. I mean 11 hours of work and it probobly looks no different to you guys. But i like everthing clean so yeah :)

ahah the maxima :) my most hated car ever. I cant stand driving it. Auto bugs me. But over all the maxima is probobly worth like 3 times my car haha

it looks 2101209472104 times better in person, the carpet looks great.



and after i was done i had to drift the circle drive :) but eff open diffs! its like you cant even get sideways with it. you just spin. I want my welded diff ):

but all and all it was worth it. if you saw the car before and after you would notice. I even took out the interior plastics and cleaned under them!

oh and sorry for the cell phone picture again haha

Yeah i told you that you wouldnt notice. But my friends who saw the before and after are amazed. I didnt take any pictures of how it looked yesterday cause it was dark

Damn, you really cleaned that bish lo. think I'll take time to take my seats out and clean as well lol.

I see you have Audio in your list of "Things", what did you have in mind there?
Also for brakes I think it would be a good Idea to see how a set of Drilled (or Drilled/Slotted) Rotors and good pads feel, while your down there you might as well change out the Brakes lines.

A set-up I'd rec. you try:
R1-Concept Rotors
Hawk HPS or Portfield R4S Pads
SPL Brake Lines
ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid


Put it this way, IMO. If you can lock up the wheels going a fairly decent speed then there's really no need change out your brakes for say Q45's unless you have an issue with Brake Fade. But it could mean you need to improve your driving which IMO is the first thing anyone should improve before throwing parts at something because they don't like how it responds. If you know how to properly use it, it should take you pretty far ;)


Headlights, the Raybrig H4's are nice upgrade, team that with some nice bulbs (CATZ if your looking for bright an white, Recon's if your looking for Bright with Blue) HID's will look like ass in those housings no matter what you do. You can do Projectors but I don't like the way it looks with Projector sitting in the middle of a Rectangle Reflector Housing. Don't do the eGay ones as the projects do nothing but block the light. My friend has those eGay projector Housings and where the projectors are they create almost something like a shadow in the beam pattern.

congrats dude! good to see you got yourself a 240. any yah thats a decent price compared to how much there going for up north here. nice job on that interior too looks super clean, as far as i can tell from pics.

the car definitely needs some TLC but im sure it will come along

Thank you. finally some input. But i think i can drive. Ive done alot of things i shouldnt have haha. This isent no where near to the first car ive had in my possision. i have two privious bu ti sold one and gave the other back to my tio.

But as in audio im just going to keep it simple. Head unit, and speakers. i have spare set of tens and 460 watt amp that used to be in the maxima (changed them out for 12s anda 1200 watt amp with a compasitor) but idk if i want to put them in cause i dont want them slidding around all the time when i take a turn to fast.

On to brakes, do thoes rotors come in 4 lug? and also i know the Q45 brakes hood right up but i have to be a five lug? or no? because i have no money to go five lug right now.

First priority is to get it registered so i can actually drive it around. Then drop out all the old fluids cause idk when that was last done. and spark plugs. And then wheels and tires. Cause i cant standsteelies . My maxima is like 2 inches lower (eibach lowing srpings) Then my 240 so forsure need to fix them. I wanted to go godspeeds but heard alot more bad then good so idk anymore.

Also what do you think about these? http://www.norcalmr2.com/pegasus/ I'm going to pick up the regular projector with white halo for 175 from the store in san deigo on the 19th. so i save for no shipping. My whole family is going to down there anyways for my cousins graduation party so its not going to be out the way

Edit: fogot these, my cousins WPOS auto 240. i do everything on his car. He doesnt know much about cars but he is learnig hah he is 20 and im the 17 year old lol

but im changing his oild tomorrow and my pament is him buying me oil so i can change mine too :) oh and filters. how much oild does a single cam take? and his is a dual cam so how much for that one? i know its a simple search but i pre occupied :)

about the rotors, i got mine from 88 Rotors.com #1 source for performance auto parts! and they redrilled it to the 4 lug. it was also xdrilled and slotted for only $100 bucks shipped... when doing this conversion, it took me about $280 for the entire conversion, but if you order it like me, brakes one paycheck, rotors the next, and finally the calipers, then you should be able to get everything and still have money.... also, you can check with carquest, they can get fully loaded calipers (brakes, calipers, and bracket).... dude, remember to get the bracket too, lol. i ordered a set from autozone and it was only the calipers w/o the brackets. i took them back and went to carquest.... at least, if you buy them refurbished they will have warranty.... IMO, its the better way to go... heres a pic of my q45 w/ the 4 lug

That sounds great. $300 for the upgrade. But was that front and rear? or just front?

oh and we havea problem. We found out that the car has a salvaged title. After the guy signed a paper saying it was clean. So idk if im keeping th car or not. After putting 11 hours of work into it. im both mad and sad.

But good news is that these is a clean 91 for 1800 :) i want it haha if i get my money back i will probobly pick that one up if its available

bro, if its salvaged, all you have to do is get a brake and light test... just make sure all your brakes are good (including rotors, proper thickness) and every lightbulb works, head lights, tail lights, all side markers, turn signals, etc... thats all to get the salvage title off, oh and pay the fee at the dmv... but other than that, its that simple..

also, it was only for the front brake upgrade...

ask for 1500 for yours... and get the other one... which ever you decide. is the 91 modded? is it stock? post information on here, so we can help you with the buy... anyway, good luck if you have any question, please ask

there is the link. and that really all you have to do? and then it will be a clean title? i could always re-sale mine for more but the guy will probobly sell this one by the time i get the money from selling mine

but i want this white one ): i wanted a white car in the first place too

but i still dont have the car registeried in my name. i just have the bill of sale. and i still never wrote on it. it has the guy i bought it frms signature and all this stuff. you think i could get away will selling it as is? like using the bill of sale with the other guys name, cause its not like the guy i bought it from new my name, or will the guy who buys it.

Im going to go to the DMV tomorrow and try to check out the car. Maybe it was salvaged before and the guy took it did that thing at the DMV to give it aclean title?

ive sold a car like that in the past....i bout a 86 honda accord for like 200 bucks running just needed freon...and i turned around and sold it for 1000 the next day lol...didnt do a thing to the car... i just left the bill of sale alone, and let the new owner fill it out... just let him know thats its salvaged and what he needs to do to get it off...

that sounds smart. im going to first check i out a the DMV then put it up for sale. Make some money of of it so i can buy the other one. I want to know if its a clean title or not so iknow when i sell it. It wont be the first car i sold hahaha.

hows the suspension parts on this car??? would you rather have a dohc, or sohc??? from what i gathered on the add, its not white paint, just primer... you can primer your car, or even do a rattle can job with yours... i did a rattle can job on mine... i think it looks good... minor flaws, but nothing i cant live without lol... the differential could be a possible problem, you can just go to the junk yard and pull out another open diff and have that one welded... and presto, problem solved lol... its totally just up to what you want your car to have...
