the GTir turbo is bigger but isnt ball bearing so it doesnt spool up as fast. Its not really a T28, its a bit of a Nissan mongrel hybrid. If you put it on an s15 motor it will produce slightly higher numbers but a quite different power curve. Im pretty sure its the biggest turbo Nissan put on a production performance car... could be wrong though...

GTiR Turbo: Garret TB2804 (T3/T25 combination -> Compressor = 60mm, 60 trim in .60A/R -> Turbine = 53mm, 79 trim in .86A/R)

S15 Turbo: Garret T28 SB8001 T04B housing (Compressor = 60mm, 60 trim in .60A/R -> Turbine = 53mm, 62 trim in .64A/R)

most Z31 turbos are T3's with a standard T3 wheel, 60 Trim T3 compressor, .63 A/R turbine housing *I think*
