ok guys, i need some ideas on how to get this damn tie rod off, i've already removed and replaced the passenger side tie-rod inner and outer, with tein rods, k now i have my problem with my driver side tie rod, the little fucker wont come loose, and i found out upon removal of the passenger side tie-rod that the threads are left handed (reversed) is, and a friend of mine said that one my be threaded normal and one may be threaded left handed, thanks for any help as to how to remove this little bastard....:thumbsup

use a pipe wrench and some pb blaster, also make sure the tie rod end is out of the spindle and that the lock plate is bent back. make sure ur turning it the opposite of the pass. side aswell.

That is why in invested $300 in a inner tie rod removal set from Snap-On. WORKS GREAT with a ½" breaker bar or air gun. Never had a problems since.


FYI... if one side is reverse threaded, BOTH SIDES WILL BE!!!!!!!!!
