Hello I am kats from Japan and I am new here, let me introduce my car.
I am sorry my car is not a 240SX, it is a 180SX (1990)

I bought an used S13 Silvia (1990 NA,A/T dark blue) when I married , then sold it some years later. Next I bought an used Silvia again (1990 TURBO, M/T lime green) this car was so mint , only 29000km on the ODO when I got it.
I needed to make a room for another car (1972 Fairlady-Z) so I let it go last year. Then this car, 1990 180SX (type2 leather sellection, limited edition less than 500 cars) showed up in a web and I boght it this year.


I really love this car, I love stock condition. 32000km on the ODO and I am the third owner . Had been Really took care of and stored garage, but it was needed to replace a gas tank and a fuel filter and a fuel pump for the rust.
During the work at Nissan dealer ,I felt that I want the car to have stock parts
as much as it can before the parts become NLA. So I descided replace
a turbo, shocks, an water pump, an alternator, a timing belt, e.t.c. even most of them looked no need to be replaced.

I'm assuming you have the CA18DET. Post some photos, car, where you live, shops you frequent, food you eat, driving roads. This way I can live vicariously through your photos so I don't have to spend money to visit.

That is one clean 180. Keep the KM's low and keep it that pretty and you'll have a collector car one day. What part of Japan are you from? I lived in Okinawa for 6 years and drove a 180sx and S14 Silvia K's. I've been to Kyushu (can't remember city), Komatsu, Misawa, and Aomori City. There are probably a few other smaller cities I can't remember right now.

I am so sorry that I haven’t replied you two, I apologize my absence.
Thank you so much for your comments.
I am living in Nara city which is 30 minutes drive to the south from Kyoto, also the same distance from Osaka but to the west.
I still enjoy the driving of my car, it is so sweet and relaxing and fast. I recently visited my mother for approximately 600 miles to the north in one day. I didn’t get tired nor boring at all.
I should keep it low on mileage but I can’t stop driving it.

My 180SX has accumulated 57000km on ODO meter. I put almost 30000km after purchasing it.
My car got HICAS 2 ( rear wheel steering system) and HEAD UP DISPLAY chosen by an original owner.
