i wouldn't pay that price for a 1990 even with a sr20 in it. but thats just me. keep looking around you can probably find a better deal.
see if he'll go any lower, he also doesnt say any cons about it so ask about that to
I live in the KOP area and just bought a 90' sr 240 for 1800. It wasnt running right and I got it off a friend. I say 3k is a fair price for an sr swapped 240 with supporting mod. Since that car had some goodies, i'd pay no more than 4k assuming it doesnt have frame rot.

Ill come and look at any 240 with you within 20 miles of me. Pm me if interested
Message me with your number well talk
If I can get him down 4500 it doesn't sound bad (haven looked in person yet)
F no. Walk away.

-Unknown internals/rebuild quality
-Isis turbo (not ness bad, but not a big ticket item)

Walk away. 3500 max for that. It's not worth it.
Isis turbo (not ness bad, but not a big ticket item)
huh i guess I should have read the ad more closely. Mehhh

Pm'ed
It's not a bad thing, it's just not huge in value that would make the car worth that price. If it had say a BB Tomei, then you get the idea lol.
Ive never even heard of isis, is it a new brand. Im assuning its better than ss autocrap.

edit: actually I have, but i didnt know they made turbos.
Idk where your getting the unknown rebuild stuff it doesn't say anything about a rebuild or internals. Also I've heard isis products are shit but it comes with 2000$ worth of extra parts including a Garret turbo and a few apexi parts
From CL ad:
it's a motor straight from japan with no miles on the motor

That means he rebuilt it. Sure as hell didn't buy it new.

Isis gets mixed reviews, mostly from stigma. Enjuku's doing pretty good racing with their parts.

Patience young grasshoppa, soon you will learn that there is no good reason on earth to pay anywhere near what the guy who bought it new paid.

Unknown rebuild means that stuff has been done to the engine and you don't know what, and don't know what parts went into it. For most people this is a big red flag.

ISIS is just like Megan or SSautoCrap, except that it's Enjuku's in house brand, so the customer service people are A) stateside so you can reach them, and B) speak English, and probably Spanish since I think they're near Miami.
personally im usually a bit iffy on buying other peoples projects. especially if they are younger..to me they had to beat on it a bit and you dont know if it was done right in the first place. if you can do the work yourself id look into getting a cheap roller that is in good shape and try it on your own
1989 Nissan 240sx Project

you should get this, looks fuckin clean. And doesnt need much
^ Damn that thing is clean. I didn't follow where you from or where the car from the post above is from. But OP if you're capable of picking up that car then do it. You would not regret it.
