I just thought it would be fun to see how much horse power y'all are getting out of your SR20s. Whats your 1/4 mile time? What cars have you beat? 0-60? This is just for fun. And if I am posting this in the wrong section sorry. I'm new here.

well sr20 in my 93 coupe running custom fmic setup jank ass eshaust t25 and 9lbs boost and i beat a stock/overboosted srt-4 running 20lbs boost from 60 roll by 1 length and from dig by 3 lengths

he then turned up boost to 30lbs later in the week at a track and blew his car up... he still talks shit to me when i see him though :fonix:

^Idk Id buy it I mean think about it an sr20 vs an srt-4. I mean the guy prob dosent even have the thing tuned in right , and besides he only said one car length. But the shit I dont buy is those v6 mustangs being fast my moms got an 04 v6 45 aniversary edition with a manuel transmission. When she lets me drive it Im always thinkin damn this thing sucks no wonder they have the v8 option they really need it Lol.

Dodge under tunes the shit out of their SRT cars. A tune could make all the SRT cars like a second faster on the strip. My dad has a SRT8 challenger and it is beast but if it was tuned and had an intake and off road x pipe it would definatly run mid 12s. idk why dodge tuned them so bad.

I would say an overboosted SRT4 might be slower than a stock one simply because without any extra grip, he would probably just spin tires since I doubt he knows how to launch it properly from what this guy says about him. You gotta keep in mind it's FWD. Plus without a tune, I'm sure his fuel is wayyy off.

It's roughly 250ish to the wheels stock? I think I read 1psi = 10hp so 8.5 to the wheels and a stock SRT4 is what? 14 psi? So roughly 300 to the ground neglecting the tune which is probably hurting it a lot along with the exhaust but still I'd say roughly 270whp minimum. Lack of experience and skill, not just untuned but now improperly tuned, no grip. I'd say he could be beat by a near stock SR20.

stock at the crank is 215 for the 03 model and 230 for the 04 and 05 but thats according to the dealer. i guess people were dynoeing them at 265 straight from the factory but i haven't found any proof of whether those are with boost turned up or stock boost. everyone that's claimed this from what i've found haven't shown a dyno graph either :/

that supra from hell video is sick dude i wanna be faster than that when i finish my build though lolz :) what you think that guys making for hp?

Yeah, FWD sucks for traction. However, there is a distinct HP difference stock vs. stock between the SRT and a SR, and he was not stock, he was pushing 20 psi. You weren't totally stock, either, but I'm sure your HP wasn't quite up to his. SRT-4's are underrated on their HP, I'm pretty sure their stock HP is more than Dodge says, just by looking at stock 1/4 mile times. I buy the traction thing when you went from a dig, but from 60mph, I'm not too sure. Even if he lost traction on launch, then he would catch you after hooking up. A 20psi SRT is probably a 300+hp car. I dunno...Of course, he could suck at driving too, who knows?

Yup, my buddies srt-4 swapped neon is at 20 lbs and it's most deff in the high 200hp, low 300hp. Don't know what they make at the crank tho :/

btw, my 240 is like Supra From Hell fast.

From what I heard, it was like 1100+whp. There was a video of him on a dyno, but I haven't been able to find it again.

410 whp. 2871r, JWT ECU and S3 cams
11.6 @ 120 mph (MT 26" tall slicks, 10.5 wide)

Full weight/option s14, with 180 lb driver. It's not much of a drag racing car, as I primarly set up the car for road racing. I'd say with with more seat time and stock suspension on the car, it would have a low 11 in it. I'm not much a drag racer and it was my first time so it's only 'meh' to me.
