Hey everyone,
I hope this helps you if you want to put fog lights on your car. This setup is for having your fog lights on while the driving lights are on.

Items necessary:
Splicer
Electrical Tape
Solder Iron
Solder
Blade
Wire
Blue Relay from Nissan

Pre-caution: disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical harm.

Go under the hood and remove the relay bank, it's clipped in at each end.

There will be four wires going into the relay, orange (fuse), green/black (stalk),
orange/black (fog light), and red/blue (energy).

Cut the red/blue down as far as you can
reach into the fusebox.

This leaves the relay side as long as possible.

Now, run that side (relay side) out of the fusebox and tie it to the
red/blue wire found at the corner lamp.

You can use a blade to cut away at the wire instead of cutting and splicing. This is more personal preference.

This is where the wire comes into play.

The red/blue you cut is the feed from the headlamp lowbeam, it
powers the relay coil. By going directly to either parking lamp you
use that as a feed.

On the inside you have to connect the 2-pin plug together. You are in essence grounding the 85 pin of the relay and that trips the coil.

The Relay is called a spst relay. It's OE from Nissan. That just goes right into its respective slot.

Make sure you solder and tape all the wires.

Connect the Battery and you are good to go. Enjoy!

Special thank you to Russ for his technical assistance yet again.

Wishing you all the best,

eh....that's good if you want your foglights to work with out the headlights (low beam) coming on. Other than that, all you really need is a headlight switch since everything else is prewired.

Is your projectors electrical taped in? The rear headlight housing is practically covered in it. Whats the deal with that. I understand retro fitting projectors (for HID) is a pretty custom mounting ordeal...how does it hold up?

You can hook up a seperate switch, but you have to make sure it can withstand the right amps.

But...everything is already pre-wired...just need the SE headlight switch. I already said this on my post...so why bump an old thread?

its actually a lot simplier i have done it and its been fine for about a year...

1) pull the fuse/relay box up 2) theres a orangeand black wire that you tap a piece of wire to 3) run that wire to your corner(parking lights) and your done....You DO NOT need a relay not even the factory one itll come on with your parking lights and low and high beams and it wont drain your battery
