I have a 1990 240sx. I have spent big money on this so u guys might call me crazy at first.

Anyway I believe that the SOHC is the best engine for torque and straight raw horsepower.

This is what i have done.

I will start with the engine,

I have bored out he block, got custom JE pistons 8.5:1 compression, Pauter x beam rods with ARP bolts. New valves, rockerarms and all the timg stuff is new.
I have done an angle job on the valves and ported and polished the head.
I have iridiun spark plugs, Nology wires, Aluminum flywheel by fidanza, act 6 puck clutch, new driveshaft bukit with chevy U -Joints for added toughness, and put in a VLSD off a 92 240sx, 300ZX front brake kit, Crane HO-6 ignition box with super coil PS92, with optional timing retard for turbo which means map sensor. DO I NEED THE MAF SENSOR CONNECTED WHEN I USE THIS?
Oh yeah the turbo is a T04B Garret turbo charger, i have taken out the butterflies and ripped out all the vaccumm lines, no egr or shit like that. I have blocked off the outlets off the intake. I have built a custom manifold for this application.

The original ECU was reprogrammed, and the for fuel i have used the stock injectors, but this is the trick I have used four NOS nozzels planted into the intake right under the injectors for extra fuel. A corvette ZR-1 pump was used for fuel supply.

The injectors turn on at around 6 psi, I hear the stock ones lean out at about 7. Is this TRUE?

A solenoid turns on by a hobbs switch which detects boost and allows fuel to move through the lines and solenoid to the intake.

Also I have plumped in a water injection kit which lso turns on by a hobbs switch it is in the intake pipe. Also an HKS Super sequential blow off valve regulates the intak pressure.

Oil relocation kit was used to free up space.

Anyways this is the problem i am having?

PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME OUT.

OK

Whne the car is idling it jumps a little, and the fuel// air meter says lean.

When i am driving it normal it looks good but when i punch it it jumps to rich and the car stutters a lot it just starts to jerk, what can be causing this and what problems do u ugys see in this setup. Please let me know what Ican do, I want to get atleast 300+ HP to the wheels. Will what i described do the job?

All sensors have been detached. Just the fan sensor and temperatur and MAF.

Is it ok to disconnect the MAF becasue I have the MAP which works with the crane Ignition box?

What is going on

THanks

Please reply and also email me if possible.

I can't really tell you what is wrong but it could be the "extra" injectors that you have. If you have spent that kind of money on the I would take it to a dyno shop and have it tuned that is one of the first places I am taking my baby when I get here back. Stubby

Its not the injectors. If there is a little leak in the Intake tract could it cause that as boost tries to rise?

Can the blowoff valv release pressure on its own if the right PSI is met?

If so why is a wastegate needed?

The BOV is just a "safety" device it releases air that would other wise be caught in the intake and intake track while also saving the turbo from blow-back. A waste-gate regulates the PSI on the turbo and when the set PSI is exceeded it releases the excess pressure. Also how do you know it isn't the injectors? Stubby

The injectors work do u think it is the extra nozzles that I have, it is doing what i said with the extra nozzles not even operating?

Could it be a leak in the tract?

Or what, could it be the computer has a problem becasue the computer was the priginal but it was reprogrammed

why don't you just quit messing with the 'extra' injectors and just get some 370cc and an S-AFC, it would save you time and trouble.

The S-AFC will control the injectors and support as much hp as you can put out. What kind of S-AFC? The only one made is the Apexi.
