Ok!! So i bought this 95 240SX for $500.00 bucks from some kid before i moved to NC. Had plans to play around with it before i realized what had been done to it. As i am typing this i am getting ready to go jack the car up and take a look underneath it to see what else is done to it. Take a look at some of these pics and give me some advice on what to do. Either to buy a front clip or try to find a new body to put this engine and stuff into.

Thanks

Thanks.. Well my intentions were to keep the car and put this stuff in another body. I think i'm going to start to look for one. I went and jacked up the car to take a look at it. There is no damage to anything underneath. Its got a brake swap from another car i believe because it has slotted rotters on the front. The suspension on the back is KYB AGX Shocks with a dial to i guess change the ride height. The control arms on the front are bent, so i don't think i am going to keep this shell. I am just going to take everything off of it and and scrap the rest.

Future - Part out wasn't in the suggestions.

OP - I would agree you're better off finding a clean shell. If they're shocks with a dial, it's for stiffness, not height. Those would be coilovers. Slotted rotors can be put on any setup, if you take a picture of the calipers we can help identify the brakes.

For 500, you got a good deal. In the future, I'd take a LOT longer to inspect a car with damage. From what you said, you didn't even look under it to inspect all the damage.

Last, we have an edit button, no need to make more posts to add info.

Welcome, hope it works out, let us know what you need.

For $500 i think you got a damn steal!

It has a cage, aftermarket suspension, wheels, engine parts, body parts, interior, everything. It looks like it's pretty much all in check if you wanted to part it out and make some good money or swap parts into another car. Either way you can't lose, you already won :yummy

Thanks. I am currently looking for the same year shell so i can just swap all the good parts into another car. To give you an idea how hard this kid hit the wall... here is the intercooler that was in the truck. Mind you.. i wasn't able to open the truck. Also while i was in there this afternoon, i found a Greddy Boost Controller. Which now make's since because under the hood was a Greddy device hooked up to the turbo.

Boostin is on my fucking head today. But i think you got yourself a great deal. Good luck finding your new shell.

And boosin- He didnt say it was not a choice so no reason to get your panties in a bunch.

For $500 you got a complete SR swap thats already wired, 5 lug hubs, what appears to be a ton of suspension parts, wheels, a cage, and a car with enough nicknacks to last a lifetime.

Buy another car and swap every in. Remove every single part not broken, and either sell them off or keep as spares.

That busted ass front end is fixable. It will cost you alot of money to take it to a body shop for them to fix. DIY if you think you can.

I was wondering why nobody mentioned that. It was the first thing that stood out to me. I am figuring someone bought that car with the swap, crashed it, and was clueless as to what was done to it.
