hey, im new. i would like some opinions. bout i year ago, my buddy sold his 240, it was junk, but i got to find out wat these cars could do. well, ive become a little obsessed. ive found a 90 240sx hatchback with 93000 for $1200. the engine is in perfect running order, and there was some body work done by a professional. the thing is, its automatic, and my buddy says its not worth the buy cause its not 5-speed. wat ya think?

thanks to all. i have checked on parts, prices, and a 5-speed conversion is financially doable. the swap itself, i would have to look up a couple things, problems i might run into and what not, but i have the equipment to do it. again, thanks to all, you where a helpful factor, and ive decided to buy. ill let yall know the result.

i payed 2K for my 90 240sx it was all stock with an R32 conversion that didnt match, it also came with (not installed) an Te04h turbo, rear fender flares, a cam, a set of sparco rims and tires. it was reaty beat so i had to put $500 worth of body parts in it (taking off the R32 and the risty rear hatch) its got 134K, 5speed, power every thing (dont like power everything) runs and drives good needed 4 tires tho.
