I recently purchased a front clip, or said to be from them and recieved what would consist of half the oarts simply placed on a wood pallet. Not to mention the condition of them was the biggest joke of it all. The suspension components were simply one color and that was RUST. There is no way anyone would joke about putting them onto a vehicle that will be on the street. I am a mechanic i know junk when i see it and this is the definition. The motor and trans not to bad rusty of course but i expected a little anyway nothings going to be brand new thats for sure. They claim all there parts are rust free (in the pictures anyway) they are far from it. Clearly stated in the add engine has 35,000 miles, the one i recieved had 75,000 according to the cluster if u ask me thats a significant difference right there. Not only that but when i call to try and figure out what they can do to help all they do is transfer me to a machine. I am royaly pissed right now for the money i spent, what was expected and what i recieved i highly recomend everyone to stay as far away from them as possible because i am in the process of being fucked over by them hard. Im hopin for some re-imbursement but thats a far stretch im sure

just looking at the url in the thread title scared me away.

think im going to request jdm-tyte-yo-engines-fo-cheap-rb-sr-2jznoshit.com and see if i can make some monies.

Next time you buy an engine, do some reseach. dont skimp on the integral part of your build, just to save a few quid. sucks that you got burned, but live and learn.

ok, i will give you this, their website looks pretty legit, except for this which i found hilarious. so homeboy is going to comp check your engine, put this nice shiny new motherfucker in a bigass box, then roll it up to your door one handed, seems legit right?

The dude tried out a new site, and got disappointing results. No need to mock him. We've all been there at some point.

OP, sucks to hear you've gone through what you've had and thanks for the feedback.

wasnt really mocking him, was mocking the site. as i said, it does suck, but next time it may be a bit helpful to do some research before buying something large like an engine.

Rust is going to happen, on parts that have been sitting in junkyard for who know's how long, and then they get shipped to the US and sit there for who know's how long. Also, the odometer is in kilometers, not miles. So, 75,000 KM=46,000 miles, not 35,000 but not bad at all.

Sucks you didn't get exactly what they advertised, but I don't think you got burned. Besides, how much of the STOCK suspension would you really want to use? If you do want to use it, a media blaster works pretty well on surface rust.

What if it is a new site and there is no reviews yet? Someone eventually has to buy it, and give their feedback on it.

Although, I have seen quite a few bad reviews for that site.

yeah, a quick google search turns up quite a few reviews, mainly from the honda platform. it just sucks because a lot of people who are into turning wrenches lack google-fu. we see it every day with people failing to search for basic stuff.

For people that read this thread looking for a good place to buy, www.jdmsource.ca and zerolift FTW!!!!!

While we're on the subject, do you guys know about got-jdm.com? They seem legitimate, and they were the first Japanese engine importer I knew of. Don't let this be a threadjack.

I had already converted it to miles it had 75,000 miles according to odometer it had 122,000 killometers so yea big difference, and yea obviously theres gonna be some rust but you haven't seen these parts they define rust, and when u order a front clip you kind of expect a front clip

I would have denied receipt and had them load it back on and then disputed the charge.

+1 for google.

-1 for being rude, someone had to try it.
