I just purchased my first 240 and im looking to turbo it. i want to know how much boost can the stock internal hold before a rebuild i neccicary. same for the rear diff. any info is helpful

Im going to have to say that if you have no idea what the name of the motor in your car is then you have no business trying to boost it until you do ALOT of research.
There is such thing as a KA20DE. But It was only in Japan, they used it in vans, trucks, and I think a couple cars but never in the 240's or America. Hell, I posted the part number on the forums awhile back for the crankshaft. It just a KA with an 86mm bore and stroke.
How much boost with a KA hold? It all depends on how it was maintained and what kind of condition its in. You can boost all you want, but if you don't have the fuel, timing, tuning, parts, or knowledge to make it work, your just wasting your time/money.

ok so i dont know my missans quite yet its only my second. i used to be a honda nerd but i converted.lol im looking to drag and drift mainly. but not much. and its my dailly right now. the most i want to get out of it is around 200, 250hp. but not really interested in rebuilding the motor. i beilieve that it was maintained fairley well. reg maint. 150. on the tack.
