Location of ECU

Ok, just so ya'll know, I DID search the site, Google and Dogpile already. Where the heck is the ECU??? I have a 1991 240SX KA24DE Hatchback, and everything I find says that itwould be by the passenger's feet. I looked, and unless ECU's got a lot smaller since I last checked, it's not there. There is, however, a black box under the driver's seat, but that only has one red LED and it won't switch modes like the ECU is supposed to. Any ideas?

behind the passenger side kickpanel, you have to take the panel off

Beside your passengers right leg will be a kicker panel, remove that panel and it is back there. It should be screwed in and the wiring will be in the back.

If you were the passenger in your 240 it would be right next to your right foot. Your going to have to remove the kick panel to see it.

I found it. Thank ya'll for ya'lls help. BTW, does anyone know what that black box under the driver's seat is? It just says Nissan on the top and has one test lamp and one "mode selector". Just wondering.

I do not have a black box under my driver seat. However there is one under the middle consol that controls the passive restraint system.

I just realized that my car is a Cali. model. Maybe that's why it's under the seat?

mine is a cali model too and i dont have a black box under my drivers seat , i have one under my center consol ? maby it was just relocated
