Just installed Megan Motor mounts on my 93' ka24det build, and the hood won't close. Engine is sitting really high. I contacted Megan and they were no help. Enjuku said everthing looked good. Ideas? Any help appreciated.

Yeah I’ve had 2 sets and on 2 different cars and they sit high.
You’ll have to cut some of the bracing under the hood. I’m doing mine tomorrow probably. Kinda sucks, but at least it creates more oil pan clearance.
I have them once again on my new car and I have 0 fitment issues this time. Hood closes with no issue.
Idk.
Great mounts though. I still need a set for my other car too. If you’re looking to get rid of yours let me know. IG @ronnyboy_swag. Send a dm I don’t really check this.
I pulled the Megan mounts and got a stock replacement set from ebay. Hood still won't close. Gonna try an oem pair tomorrow. It's a dang mystery. The blue piece of tape on the hood is where it's touching.
Oem mounts installed and hood still won't close. I am totally at a loss. Gonna check the trans mount.
Maybe it needs to be taller. It's an aftermarket oem style. Idk.....
After talking with another member, we learned that the engine mount had been changed. I ended up using aftermarket brackets and bmw engine mounts to get the hood shut.
