Yeah I’ve had 2 sets and on 2 different cars and they sit high.

You’ll have to cut some of the bracing under the hood. I’m doing mine tomorrow probably. Kinda sucks, but at least it creates more oil pan clearance.

 

I was thinking of raising the trans at the mount to tilt the engine forward some. If that doesn't work I'm gonna take them out.

 

I'd get rid of the Megan mounts, they suck. The drift freak mounts off Zilvia are great. Nismo mounts also sit kind of tall if I remember correctly.

I have them once again on my new car and I have 0 fitment issues this time. Hood closes with no issue.

I pulled the Megan mounts and got a stock replacement set from ebay. Hood still won't close. Gonna try an oem pair tomorrow. It's a dang mystery. The blue piece of tape on the hood is where it's touching.

Maybe it needs to be taller. It's an aftermarket oem style. Idk.....

 

After talking with another member, we learned that the engine mount had been changed. I ended up using aftermarket brackets and bmw engine mounts to get the hood shut.
