Let's just say it was a little bit more than the book price.. but most clean 240's go for about 1-1.5k over book value so I'm not upset.

 

how much is the book value, i dont mind paying more either but im in the market for one of those s14's with the cool headlights (s14A?)

 

I've seen a black kouki SE with 68k miles go for 8,500. Is was super clean though so 8,500 was a really good deal.

The first time I talked to someone about the car, the owners grandmother, she said the car still smelled like new. I thought it was BS but whenever I first sat in it it actually kind of did. It didn't smell like smoke or B.O. like most cars I ride in. My eclipse smelled like a summer breeze My 240 needs to smell like that asap.

I'm in the process of getting that MTN. VIEW nissan crap off the back. So for I got the W... I was thinking about leaving NISSAN on there though.

Heh I've looked for well over a year now. I found a 96 with 38k miles but I passed it up because I really wanted a kouki. Then one day I came across this car on ebay and got pretty interested. I really wanted an SE but I figured since it only had 19k miles a lsd and 5-lug weren't all THAT important. I can change all that later.

I never bid but I watched the auction get up over 10k (I believe, if it didnt is was really close) and the girl had the reserve at 12k..? If this was an SE I would consider paying close to 12k but... it's not so I gave her what I thought was a pretty low-ball offer just to see what she would say and she took it.

And the car is perfect. If it wasn't for stupid kbb prices this thing should be worth 12 easy considering people pay 16-17k for something like a newer celica...

Hey, i don't mean to scare you, but did you do a carfax on that yet? I bid on a florida 98 kouki with under 20k. and i retracted my bid because it came up false mileage.

Again, i don't mean to scare you.....just something to think about/look up.
