whats wrong with megan coilovers?

 

nothing to me, I've heard nothing but good things about them, but some people from other sites gave me shit cause they wern't top of the line. this isn't going to be a drift car or anything, just a car I can enjoy so the megans were good enough for me.

 

I'm trying to see if this works(pics)

 

ok, from the beginning, I wanted to be a part of the body work as much as I could, so he let me strip the car

here is the interior

I had a few rust spots on the car, under my seat, alittle on door, but nothing too big

 

wth you cut the carpet? umm why....
and thats a huge rust spot. idk what you mean not big

 

what I mean is, the whole bottom isn't rusted, just a few holes

 

he test fitted the body kit on before we did anything(duck tape) I didn't really like the front bumper so I put some black tape on what I wanted him to make it look like(only ten time better)

here is a pic of the rear quarter panel on, I wanted the vent to be bigger so he cut into the body so It would be more functional

plus he took off 2-4 inches off the fender well so my tire won't rub

here is the light panel it came with, I didn't like the lights so I bought some R33 lights to put in

the R33 lights wern't too big, I think they fit in ther perfectly

now he's making a mold to glass in the R33 lights

 

nice and interesting body kit. keep em up with those updates!

your bodywork guy is very very good, and I thought I had skill

 

Note the car is stripped, no interior, no gas tank and stock suspension, so she's sitting pretty high!
the door flare that came with the kit was fiber glass, he made me a metal one(metal to metal is better)

so he came up with this, the original fender cut to cover the brace:heyhey

 

He fixed that door with no bondo or anything? Didnt the steal warp at all as he was welding it?

 

he's just that good!..lol...he's really good, he's done a few cover cars for Hot Rod, and the part I love the most, it's just him in the shop, no kids running around doing the work for him, you get his quality!

I've always loved this hood, so I bought it!

here's a side pic when we test fitted the hood and front bumper, those are the nock off super made lights, I was going to use but changed my mind

the hood needed to have alitle more support so he added some more fiber glass underneith the hood

 

this is awesome!

 

this is great. The car looks awesome, and I think your body guy is awesome also. His work looks like he takes his time and does everything right.

we cut the back bumper for the diffuser

very very awesome job man! props to you and whoever else is helping out with this project. looks like everything is giong smooth. i also like the front bumper as well, almsot reminds me of an rx-7.. sorta like the one in initial d. anyways i can't wait to see an update! keep up the good work ya'll

 

DANG! i jsut noticed you had like an inline 8 in that monster! and its turbo! whoas man, mind me asking for some specs?
