if your not sure please dont respond simply bump so someone as i can come in with experience and knowledge on the subject at hand.....

now OP if you search google you will get your answer in extreme detail.

but for the lazy and dumb here you go

Tools
basic car tool set
drill with multiple drill bits
jack stand high enough to get under the car. or a motor hoist and pull everything out (what i would do)
balls big ones because that AT is fucking heavy as shit

parts
tranz
drivshaft
flywheel
clutch
pressure plate
bolts for the last three
cross member and mount
clutch peddle
break peddle or do what i do and simply cut the mother fucker way easy
clutch master cylinder
clutch line
slave cylinder

now remember the at has lines that run to the front of the car, those need to be removed and contain oil so be careful
and that at clutch thingy, is called a torque converter

personally i hate doing this swap, its a fucking pain in the ass. and costs way to much money,

your new and a bitch so ima be nice and say if your in the la area i can help you but im not getting dirty. you learn by doing not watching.

Slave cylinder, slave line, master cylinder, clutch booster, clutch pedal, clutch sensor? I am sure there are some random parts you will need, but those are the major parts. Maybe driveshaft?
Wow, congrats on supplying the same list with a list of the obvious as well. And to state that tools are needed! I sure am glad we have experienced people like you who are willing to spend their precious time telling people what they need to know. Get off your high horse. Oh, and instead of calling the kid a bitch, why don't you show a little respect to the other members of the forum you so obviously live on. We are all here with the same interest, and your lack of tact creates a rather undesirable environment for others to learn in.

Alright take it easy children ^^

Clutch sensor, I don't think there is one. There is like a switch behind the clutch pedal that had your cruise control if you want it and I think you have to wire in (a green wire maybe) into your harness. It's been a while since I looked at the 5 speed swap DVD

If you are thinking of buying it, don't its a waste of money. It was like the first DVD they made its not helpful

You also need to wire in your reverse lights too, and you will need a manual ecu if you don't want any codes. The auto one will work but it'll throw some codes for the tranny

There is an oem sensor behind the pedal to tell the system it is depressed to start the car. Most people bypass it, but it is a good idea to have it for new to manual guys. It is mounted on the z32 clutch pedal I have sitting in the garage.
