I got a new S13 this past week. It's a black 90 hatch. SOHC 5-speed. It's a base model, I think, as it has window cranks, and it looks like it's got manual locks as well. (The car did not have a battery in it, and you can't really tell just from looking if they're power or not, but I doubt that Nissan would make a car with power locks and crank windows). It's in kinda rough condition. I'll try to get pics up this weekend. I'm headed back home, and I'm planning on stripping some stuff off of the car. It's got a decent interior, but the dash is cracked to hell and back. Not really a big deal to me, though, as the dash in my current daily-driven S13 is spotless. The carpet in it is darker than my carpet, and I think that I like that color more, but it's a cheaper carpet than what's in my car currently (SE carpet that's very stained up). Do you guys think that I should swap over to the other carpet?
I paid $300 for the car. It's got some rust where the spoiler was taken off, and a couple of dents, and the paint is very faded, but it's got a good hood and fenders on it.
I was hoping to mainly get the 5-speed and all associated swap parts all in one package, so I didn't have to worry about missing some small parts, or having to replace anything, as all of these parts came off of a running car. I need to get the steering rack, and some suspension pieces as well. Also, this leaves me with some spare tails, so I'm thinking about experimenting with some taillight modification.
As I said before, I'll try to get some pics up this weekend. I'm sure I'll be able to get a few!
