is the tranny thats in the car shot? if its not then just keep it. but a 94 tranny will bolt up
newb tranny question
Alright i have a 922 240 hatch, manual, pretty much stock. My question is with a s14 tranny what (if anything) do i have to do to put it in the car. I'm pretty sure that it bolts up fine just wondering if there's anything i'm over looking. Sorry if this question is dumb but when it comes to transmissions i'm lost.

its not done yet. i bought the car and have only driven it a few times due to a list of problems. when i finally got it running it was grinding and i cant get on it or its hard to shift. thinking it was the clutch i ended up replacing everything from the master cylinder down, including pulling out the dampener. talked to a family friend who told me its most likely the syncros. so i found a s14 tranny for 100 bucks thats still good so figured i'd just swap them out then rebuild the original for a learning experience.
