ok, here's the deal. i got no fuel and no spark. i am cranking tho. turn the car on and the fuel pump doesn't come on. i used the entire sr20 wiring harness to the ecu so i know all of the engine sensors are getting to the ecu. at this point my guess is that i'm not getting a crank angle reference. haven't checked the integrity of the cas yet, but if i were to guess at this point....id say that's my prob.

what do you guys think? any suggestions? cause at this point i'm open for 'em.

i've got power to everything on the inside of my car. gauge cluster, radio, power antenna, door chimes....everything. there is a switch on the ecu but its in japanese so i don't know what its for....i think its to switch diag modes for the consult?

nah. i had a manual to start out with. i got everything with the swap...maf, ignitor chip. i checked all the fuses. besides i don't see why a blown fuel fuse would cause no spark. shouldn't be the maf cause id get spark and no fuel. like i said i don't thing i'm getting a crank referance angle so it's not feeding me fuel or spark but i haven't checked the cas yet to see if its inop. do you think it could be a bad case ground on the ecu?

if you arnt getting spark or fuel at all the cas has taken a shit.
also check to see that the ecu is turning on if it isnt then your problem may lie in the wiring.
is the ecu throwing codes?
if so what are they?
a ecu reset may fix the problem.

ecu isn't throwin any codes. and the engine is turning over so i assume that the ecu has power. the wiring by the battery...i'm guessing your talking about the 2 connectors that needed to be spliced. but even if they were wrong they're past the injectors and ignition. should they matter? if the cas has gone up i wouldn't get fuel or spark cause it's not getting a crank reference. but no i don't hear the fuel pump come on

alright. i checked the fuel pump last night. and i had an open in the ground wire. turned the car on and magically got fuel. although when i started it, it seemed like it wanted to turn over but didn't. i got a few puffs out of the exhaust that smelled heavy with fuel. i think i fouled my plugs. ill update you guys later with what i find
