Help! I have an 89 S13 240sx and my blower fan quit. my mechanic says there is no power going to the fan from the fuse box but when he wires it to another fuse it works fine. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on and what he could do to get it working?Thanks!

It could be the blower motor resistor. Its under the dash on the passenger side, also Take a voltmeter or a test light, connect one lead to positive and the other to the ground side.If your getting battery voltage then your motor is dead.
So I was able to get my blower fan working; my excellent mechanic did some patch wiring and said something about a short. Im happy it works at all but now the fan will only blow on the highest speed.

Hey thanks…will try that! So happens I found a compatible working resistor on Ebay and already have it ready to go.
