to start, if you did your homework you would know if they fit or not.

after that all you need to do to get seats to fit in your S13/S14/Swhatever is the following

Tape measure and dimensions of your new seat (including your brackets/rails)

and use those dimensions you've gathered and do the same

now most seats dont always come with brackets and sliders and rails but bride and other companies make them, you will have to figure out if they fit or not.

to recap:

no more stupid seat threads, I put in 05 SE-R seats in my car by modifying the origional SE-R brackets and all i went by is if they fit in the cabin when I got them at the junkyard and went from there.

now if anyone has seat rails and seat combos that they have that fit and share you experience with them, and tell us how tall you are and how much head room or comfortability it has.

and to help to remove your stock seats all you need is a 14mm socket, a bolt in each corner.

Corbeau FX1 Pro with corbeau rails which are bottom mounts

im 5'10" about 180lbs

the seat is comfortable but begins to get alittle uncomfortable after about an hour on the freeway the support is great i have a little bit of extra room side to the sides but holds very well if your not used to bucket seats it will take alittle bit to get used to the shoulder area the seat sits very high though with a helmet on i have to hunch forward to avoid having my helmet rubbing the roof i do have a sunroof though maybe different for those of you without one

i plan to try another seat rail in the near future ill post up how i feel about it with the other rail

update i took out the corabeau bottom mount rail and installed a Nagisa Auto side mount Super Low Seat Rail the seat now sits back down around the level of the stock seat maybe a tad lower (i can now wear my helmet without hitting my head on anything) it is adjustable for height and front to back it has alot of clockable area looks like it would fit many different seats.. the rail is split in two pieces one recomendation is if you have a botom mount spot on your seat take those bolts out if you mount to the lowest position or it will snag and you wont be able to adjust front to back to intall you also need a 12mm wrench and socket and a hex wrench

I have R32 GTS-T seats. Very comfortable and much more supportive than stock S13 seats. 3 of the 4 holes bolt up no problem. The hole in the back near the door is the one thats off. All you need is to make a metal tab, drill a hole in the tab to run the bolt into the floor and have the tab overlap the hole for the seat rail. Works fine. They do sit a tad higher and is wider than stock seats. The lower part of the seat hits the door but the door still closes so no real problem. Paid $200 shipped for the pair from JHOT.

i have s15 seats, front and rear. they fit perfect, except you have to remember to swap out the seat belt buckles on the side of the seats to your old ones. you dont have to rewire any sensors, as if you have one it will be swapped over with the side buckle (we rewired the japanese one to work before we realize the buckle didnt fit). be careful when ordering these shipped from japan, mine came completely dissassembled and took a few hours to reassemble with two people. lastly, these arent a huge improvement in comfort and bolstering over the s14 kouki seats, but they do look much better and the improvement is noticeable.

I started a thread like this a while ago when I was searching. I ended up with a MOMO Cup bucket with a Nagisa Auto rail. The seat is fantastic. It holds magnificently and is FIA approved (if it matters). I'm around 6'0 - 6'1" and 184lbs and I fit nicely. I think it's a bit overkill for a street car but I wanted a side mount seat that was affordable. I specifically looked for side mounted seats for headroom. To me, MOMO Cup = problem solved.

BTw, I heard that the GTS-T seats are the same as the S14 seats.

Seats!

i want to put a new or used seat in my car, but i know that 240s are notorious for the hump on the floor panel so not many brakets fit. i was wonderign if i get a seat such as a recaro if i would have to buy a new bracket or could i use my old ones on a new seat? also i was curious to hear what type of seats you guys went with, i plan on not runnig 4 point harnesses and just a stock belt and i only have about 200 bucks.

Has anyone found a good seat rail to use with the Corbeau CR1's. I tried the Corbeau rails but they really sucked. Im a little over 6'0, and even with the custom rails we have made they still sit to high. Its coming down to either cutting the notch out of the floor of my S14 or going to a seat that allows for side mounting.

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it
