it's pretty damn hard with the wheel
im getting whupped even in sunday cup, damn AI is getting beefy.

 

Yeah, I transfered money, because I screwed up and bought a shitty car to start out with. Just used the money to buy dirt tires for the VR4 and to buy an s14 Ks with a few light mods.

The 5 second penalty thing sucks! lol

after playing it for a while all i gotta say is... 4 years for this? wtf!?! at least gimme some better cars, a few more options on customizing cars, a simpler layout, stable graphics, etc... but all in all, it's a good game, maybe it will grow on me, i just expected it to be kick ass awesome for the time it took.

 

hahaha thanks D1. yeah i did get it! there was no street date so as soon as we got it i bought it and left. my manager covered my spot for the rest of the day. ehh it was worth it. i couldnt find my gt3 file so i couldnt transfer my money. game is sweet. it only took me about an hour to get addicted. im impressed but they couldve at least put some aero.

what car did everyone start out with? i started out with mitsubishi evo GSR.

i dont like...the touchiness of the brakes on some cars. like in arcade mode the brakes seem touchy. and i still hate the fucking license tests....why do i still have to do them? all my licenses should transfer cause obviously i did them in 3...and 2...and 1 god damn it. but ill love this game no matter what...or until i have to get the iB and iA licenses lol.

In the Special Conditions Races if you hit the opponent or the wall you are charged w/ a 5 second penalty in which you can't steer or accelerate.

 

is it just me or is the ingame almost the same as gt3, maybe its bc i dont have a hdtv and the coaxial connector but it doesnt look realistic to me and wtf is up with the stock shifting and we same time delay?

 

no its different. a lot better. i like it a lot. its so fun! i dont get bored with it. we got snowed in today. played from 6am-6pm then i had to let my brother play. i forget what cars i have. i won a 350z LM race car. sold that for 333k and bought m spec nur. 850hp give or take. and i have an r32 with like 740hp. the nitrous shocked me but it helps with the understeer. and catching back up when you fuck up. i also have this toyota f1 looking race car. 226hp crappy but i didnt sell it because i couldnt get any money for it

thank god i found my gt3 file. only my a and b class license transferred. what cars do you get if you get all gold and crap?

also theres something that really bugs me. right before i start a race the screen will start to shake and get kinda blurry. does anyone else have this? over all its an awesome game. $35 well spent

 

i get that same screen problem, i think its just some slight lag, cuz gt4 does push the ps2 to its limits. it dont bother me that much anymore........

i recently won the cien OMG! put the stage 3 n/a setup on it and it becomes a rocket!

I work at Best Buy and I haven't even played it yet because my PS2 is broken :'( I had to choose between fixing up my kouki and fixing up my Playstation. I just keep telling myself that it's better to drive at the track in real life than in a game.

But this thread is making me want to cry.
