Picking up my first 240 wooohooo

okay so i called the guy that has the 240 and he says he needs the car out by tomorrow cause his lease for the house is up and needs to move by the 31st. So im picking t up for $400. Only problem wrong with is the ecu(im hoping), needs a battery, an intake, and has back taxes which is about $300.Cant wait always wanted one. Ill say the only thing i dont like about it is its an auto but ill keep it like that for now till i can afford to do a swap.Will post pics wen i get the car.:beer2:

holy crap i counted 10 things so far that scare me i hope this guy is telling the truth.
yeah a lot of people are telling me that..oh well if it doesnt run good ill just sell it for $1000..and here in hawaii they would just so they can part it out and sell it piece by piece to make even a bigger profit.Oh well just got to pray that it will go good. He actually works with my cuzn and he was driving it around for a while illegally cuz the tags are out of date but the ecu just went bad. He toook it to his friend who is a mechanic and said that the ecu prob just went bad from old age. Prayn for the best though.
auryte just picked up the car today..i am picking up an ecu this weekend so hope it goes well..wish me luck..but im gonna go and and try to put a battery in it to see if it trys to start or not
You never responded to me about the ecu i have. I have been waiting for you so I could ship it lol.

Okie dokie so I found my problem..lol it was the fuel pump...oh well bt atleast I found it soooo now I have to save money for a new one..but I get to body work it now..lol gonna go and take some pics of tthe car wen I get home from work

haha boostin i was thinking the same thng but good for you for getting your 240
you cant afford $50 for a new one?
50 bucks for a fuel pump..where do u live i wana live there..i live in hawaii so priced out a new fuel pump for $116.66, a pump strainer $13.12 and a new pump relay for $15.52
