Me and nab911 are trying to put together a group buy on CA clips from racinghard.com. We have 3 in already, with a fourth possible. We have not been quoted a price on the group buy yet, however they single price is only 950/clip and they quoted 350-400 shipping on another thread here.

Ya it seemed big but I guess they don't want to guaruntee anything. If you do the math 100k is only about 60k in miles...

Ok guys got some bad news.

Talked to racinghard, they want us to get 10 people, not 6...and they want us to ship all 10 to one port. So unless we can get that many people in the Atl area, this probably won't work out..sorry guys.

This is the first I've heard this date...and there is pretty much no way we can meet that.

 

For the people of racinghard.com, If you're going to agree to supply a group of people with a group buy price, perhaps you (racinghard) should post up your own group buy with some set specifications such as price, deadline, shipped price, pick-up price, etc. Having someone in the middle talking for the company that doesn't even work for them makes things confusing and doesn't reflect well upon you as a business. It seems like youi don't even want to do the extra work for the guaranteed business. I was interested in this group buy, but after seeing what a mess it was, I'm quickly deterred.

Well the engine itself doesn't really have a 1/4 mile time... But you can probably expect something in the low 15's or high 14's w/ a stock CA in an S13.

 

How's the installation...is it comparable to the sr20det in terms of cost, difficulty and time.
