Well i was bored so i thought ill share some pictures i have..
I got the Chance to put the RB in the car this weekend

After Waiting so long trying to find stock RB mount brackets, finally got them.

The motor is in, all i am waiting for is my Q45 TB.. and my harness to get back from Jon Powell

Its mostly stock S1 RB25DET
ACT 6puck / heavy duty press. plate
Greddy Intake manifold
Mckinney mounts
Drive shaft Shop steel shaft
Walbro 255LPH / Z32filter

The rest of my Silvia front should be here soon and ill be getting my intercooler and exhaust soon as well.

Ill just keep it stock for a while, running about 10-12psi, intill some time in the fall. Ill be taking it completely out for a FULL rebuild.. Looking for 500+ HP (yes, I know I don’t need to do a FULL rebuild to make 500hp, but I am doing it for reliability reason, and cuz I want to)

Finally… the pictures

Nothing much... but its an update...

I like the relocation for the fuse box. Is it going to be covered? I need to get my battery tray removed.. it's the only spot on the entire car that has rust from the battery acid. :p
yea i am making a cover for it, not sure if i want to paint it to match the car, or leave it the aluminum....

yea just drill out all the little holes .. and it the tray comes right out

Another thing i would like to mention.

Alot of ppl told me to put it in from the bottom, that its alot easyer then going in from the top. but once the engine was on the hoist, i kid you not, but it did not take more then 30mins to get the engine in, and bolted down.

Just lower, push, lower , push, i think the hardest part was lining up the mounts in the hole, but then again that wasnt that bad.

make sure you get a Jack on the trany to level it out also.

did you allreadybuy your q45 TB? I think I have a friend that bought one on accident( ment to buy the z32 i think)
Yea i sent the money like over a week ago..
but the dude i got it from is known to not reply to emails,
but he still sends his shit out.

How much would ur friend want for it?
if i can get one ASAP, ill buy it, then sell the one i got from that guy once it does get here.. just so i can get this thing started, and bugs worked out

swap looks very clean. Nice to see that there are a few others out there that spend their time to make it look good. I wouldn't run the stock turbo over 10psi. The turbine and compressor wheels are both ceramic and held onto the shaft with a strong bonding glue, that will over time start to break away and you will be looking in your rear view mirror to your turbine wheel shooting out onto the pavement.

hmmm no shit..
i might put a T3/T04 soon and some 550cc's injectors. just to play around with intill the Rebuild

So we will see how long the Stock T3 will hold me up for.
Thanks for the heads up
