Ok guys i have instaled my new knock sensor and im still getting my check engine lite.

I installed my new knock sensor tight but not at spec.

I also erased my code from the ecu by turning the ecu screw clockwise all the way
held it for 2-5 seconds
and then turned counterclockwise all the way, till it hit its stoping point
then i started the car

As soon as i turn the car off and go back to acc the light comes back on.

In the Maxima world...knock sensor malfuction was a "ghost" code where it wouldn't actually trip a CEL if broken. Does the knock sensor code actually trip the light in 240's? If not, you have another issue.

I know that code 55 means your all good but it threw a code 55 even when autozone got a knock sensor error. When i leave the key at acc the check engine light stays on, even after reseting the ecu.
I checked it with a test light an im not getting any voltage.

What pin ut is the knock sensor on an s14.

The knock sensor doesn't work like that. Its not a resistor or anything, its sorta like a microphone and the ECU analyzes the levels of volume.
A noisy ticking timing chain can cause the ECU to throw a code for knock when its actually the timing chain.
The check engine light is SUPPOSED to be on until the engine is running.

The knock sensor does not throw the MIL light. Shwag is correct about the MIL light. It stays on until the engine is running. As far as why your light is on with no codes other than 55 is a whole different problem.
