Ofcorse! Im not afraid of a little hard work.. lol I work at a bodyshop so with me and best friend during the motor work and wiring, i have the body work handled.. Hands down. after i get it running im going suspension.. 3 inch exhaust with 2.5" cat and after turbo im going straight 3", then s13 conversion because its hawt and no one around here has it!

 

May as well paint the engine bay while everything is out too.

Heh.. I got a driver side window, and a side marker.. then the guy who owned the junk yard came out there and started yelling at me because i took the window out of a perfectly good door.. haha so i just bought what i had and left in a hurry... lol he was upset!

damn.. I gotta find a motor and manual tranny and i gotta do the shit for my clutch, which is no big deal.. car still has alot of shit in it.. motor wise like everything i need is in the building, i just need motor+tranny and hoses and ill be good! Well new radiator.. but besides that i have everything! =/ i get my title sometime next week.. so untill then its still not officially mine i guess.. but its in my yard. It sucks because the deal with the guy isnt done yet, so i feel as if he is holding me up from getting her going. Understand where im coming from? He is my kink in the chain, lol. I'm still in search of a KA24DE, junkyards want alot for em when they only give like $300 for the entire car, but we all have to make a living somehow. It's gotta be soon though, my jeep is starting to knock really bad that and i think the starter is about gone on it, but yea.. Who cares about a jeep? After i get my 240 alive ill sale it for $1,000 or something and start doing internals for KA so i can boost her up!

Ive seen S13s in much worse shape.

I have a house in denton and i just bought a 240 myself. I too am doing a ka-t. I just got my weisco pistons in today. I will be rebuilding the whole motor possible the first week in march.

 

I got my window in today.. Some moron slammed the door so hard that it busted out the drivers side window while it was rolled down. *sigh* iim getting the glove compartment box reupholsted, along with both front seats and door panels.. for free.. I have someone in my family that does it. Also i need a console that goes in between the seats, the manual radio trim that goes all the way down to it, the panels on the door panel that covers the lock/handle to open the door.. and Window switches..wewt? Someone hook me up if you read this!

 

Alright.. So ive shaved the two holes in the trunk lid from some shitty autozone spoiler the guy before me put on there.. and since they busted open the key hole for the trunk lid i went ahead and took that out and shaved it off too.. So.. 5 hours of welding (1st time ive ever used a welder) and three 3 holes are completely gone!

 

Ugh.. And to think im getting my motor this weekend? I have so much work to do! There is no way i can have it dropped in anytime soon.. =/ lol On the plus side, i have it where i only have 3 classes a day but im getting a credit for a 4th period (CO-OP.. My employer told me i can stay home and he will fill out the form saying i was at work muahah).. Ugh You guys could help me out by telling me what to throw away and what to keep in my engine bay.. lol =/ What all do i need to keep to drop the KA24DE in it?
