with a new rack and pin do you need to grease the joints? ( and by joints I mean where the boots are.) and if so where is the grease nipple?

i think you dont have to if i remember right

you mean the inner connecting tie rod? the part of it covered by the boot? i do believe you should grease that , then cover it up again with the boot.
