Just watched both videos and subbed. I may have to look into trying this vlog thing. Seems like it could be fun, but I don't know anything about editing though. I get so dang distracted sometimes I'd probably forget what I was doing while working on the car.
Basically, what I do is plan out what I need to get done for the day. I setup my cameras and start recording. Because I don't have many friends or other 240 folks in the area into the same stuff. It's usually just me myself and I. So like I said in your post I invest some money into getting some items to help me do that a bit easier. Plus I get to write it all off on taxes. It's rather hard to disput a YouTube channel..Lmao.:nerd:

I am not photogenic either, plus I know on xbox live I sound like a 14 year old boy mid-puberty. Hahaha

I've been watching Offbeat Garage on Youtube. Not sure how the guys who do all this keep up with it. I either get too in-tune and forget to take pictures, or flustered and nothing goes right.
Most video editing software allows you to take still from the video. So you can also do that instead of always taking regular stills. I tend to stay away from still while I am working. I do this because 90% of the time a still won't get me any closer to the amount of detail I need to display the detail I need to prove my point. I also feel that 85% of most views don't care and will take your word on it. So just be accurate in your facts.

I actually just did the same myself with my headlights! Good job! It's always one of the first things I do with any car I own, lol.

Mine went from

Mine don't look nearly that clear. But I've not put the clear on them yet either. Plus I've only done 1 light. I still need to tear apart the other side.

Here is my most recent up. I don't have anything from Saturday or Sunday. The problem with Saturday was it was so hot and I have the wrong type of hardener for the job. The problem with Sunday is it rain and I had to run some errands. Plus the paint show is no longer open on Saturdays, Sigh. For you guys just skip to time 6:00 minutes

Ok, I know it's been a minute. I'm trying to get settle into this vlogging stuff. Plus I have had some issues with people crawling around in my phone that has caused me to get distracted and loose step. I started getting some stuff in from my bulk order. You can see me some unboxing here....

I went to advanced today to check on a water pump and oil pump. They kept looking stuff up for a 200sx and not a 240sx. So I just thanked them and walked away. It's almost getting to the point where it's better to find like one place your comfortable with and just shop there.

I pulled the front bumper and the lip. The front bumper needs crazy love and the lip need a retarded about of work. That doesn't really make me all the happy. The other day (at night) I went into the garage and pealed all the dynomat off the door. That wasn't hard but left a ton of material still on the door. You will see that in the up coming video on monday as I begin to film. I have three pieces in total now that need paint and went he motor is pulled that will make 4. So I will need to figure out the primer gun issue some time soon or everything is going to get all backed up.

The biggest thing right now holding me back is the heat. Apparently getting old means you don't deal with heat so well. Today it's like 93 degrees outside. So I am going to wait for the sun to go down a bit and start ripping the motor out of her. I wanted to wait but the middle of June is here now and I have a limited time to get my stuff in the machine shop before it starts to back up for like 6 months. So I need to keep that in mind.

That's all for now. Stay tuned for a build vlog.

Hey, So it's been a while. Using mostly my vlogs to talk about the project. The machine shop called and said that my block was already bored. So I can't use the KA24DE pistons I have from Wiseco. I have the +0.020 @ 9.0:1 compression. Here are the spec's on the pistons.

Bore: 89.50mm
Compression: 9.0:1

Wiseco Forged Pistons Nissan 240SX KA24DE

The link above does a pretty job is giving you a basic description. I am testing the waters to see if anyone is interested in them? I am asking $490.00 and $10.00 shipping anywhere inside the U.S.

**Advise: Any time you purchased a car with a Jasper motor in it. Don't order crap until the motor has been mic'd. This has been a huge headache. I am not certain but I may run into crank issues as well. Sigh.

Same thing just happened to my buddy And I told him to tear the engine apart and mic it then he proceeded to buy 2 more blocks without micing them so guess what he's the lucky owner of 4 ka24de bare blocks lol
