So I was working on my mirrors. Being as I am very OCD about mistakes in my paint I will be redoing both today. My springs and struts are going to show up before my brake lines. What the hell is up with that. I ordered a couple of pieces for my doors. I realized how beat up they really were

I'm down for those switches and bezels and stuff.

As far as the rear suspension, you don't need to really mess with much back there.
I would just recommend camber arms and you should be good, maybe adjustable toe rods.
How low will you be going?
If it isnt anything extreme you dont need anything else besides camber arms. I have all SPL shit and it was a lot of money but it was worth it to me with the aluminum bushings and spherical bushings.

If you do buy the ISIS stuff make sure you make some kind of cover to keep debris out

Ok, thanks. We have a 3D printer across the street at the local library. I can have the factory ones scanned and then a template made. Then have them produced. Any other plastic pieces people can think of I can scan that you all might find helpful?

I am not really sure what you mean by this. However, close to me are two to three events I can attend over the summer. I would like to try AutoX and get in some drift time. I want to avoid Megan type quality. I know some folks might not have a bad experience with them but I got one of their turbo manifolds and it broke and fell off the car. I've refused their stuff since.

What do you mean by covers? Do you have any pictures or video's up on youtube?

These are the nicest coilover set I've ever ordered. I am totally siked to try them out. I set the rear struts up on 15 which is middle of the road. They have a bit of give so I am hoping that is a good around the town setting.

Holy shit your car looks pretty good

As far as the 3d printing you could do the door panels or maybe make it sectioned pieces all joined together by an aluminum frame.
There is a company that now makes the S14 dashboard defroster vent out of aluminum since the plastic ones break and its like $50

Now that you have coilovers and everything is going to rattle in your car, you may want to look into making stuff out of aluminum or if you will be making templates for some random interior plastic, you should account for some of that interior noise reduction tape that is available. This tape is almost like a velcro and you normally tape it to the back of door panels and dashboard to reduce the creaks and vibrations.

It would be BOSS STATUS if you could spend the time and design some door panels (aluminum/ fiberglass/ abs plastic) with much more clearance for like a roll cage.

Theres a thread on zilvia where everyone posts their cages and stuff and you can see where they have notched their door panels and stuff.

As far as suspension, I was suggesting that you could make some balljoint covers and some pretective covers for the adjustable endlinks so that you could keep road debris out and prevent rust better.

I want to make some stuff like that for personal use but I havent taken my 3d modeling classes yet

****Thursday Update****

My Mirrors came in from the body shop. I am in the process of re-assembling them now. I won't take pictures of that. Fairly straight forward stuff. I think my spacers might be in tomorrow. My brake lines are on back order till Oct 30th. Sigh, I was hoping to have those bled and installed before returning to work.

The foam that does between the door and the mirror. Does anyone happen to know what that stuff is? I can't seem to google it at all.

****Saturday Update 2****
Ok, so last night I had some time on my hands and I went in and start installing my spacers to push the rim away from the struts. Sadly the stock Struts were fine but the BC struts collided with the rim. So I ordered H&R 10mm spacers. Here is the result of that experiment.

Which left me a little sad. Because I also realized that they replaced the wheel bearing buts left the rusted studs and tore up brakes on the car. Sigh.

Here is how the car looks in the air with the new suspension on. Moo ha ha. It looks pretty sick in my humble opinion.

The rear tire is off the ground. Apparently the car is litterally sitting on one tire right now...Lmao

I am itching so bad to drive the car now. It's killing me so bad. But I had to order 20mm spacers and new lugs. My brake lines will be in on Wednesday. So hopefully next weekend if nothing goes wrong I can drive it again.
