remove the panel under the dash, remove the steering column cover(2 pieces), remove the black plastic piece, remove all the buttons on the plastic piece, unscrew the cluster, pull forward and remove harnesses(4 plugs?).

if you cant figure it out maybe you should just have a mechanic do it. Thos hazard buttons on the bottom and the other button yank that thing out and unclip it. THen after you have gotten the screws out of the bottom and top and the panel under the steering column yank the trim from the bottom it should pop right out its clipped in. then theres 3 screws on the cluster undo them and twist the cluster sideways to pull it out, pull it out like a foot and unclip the harness that you may have to use a needle nose pliers the clips are gay after that just repeat backwards. While in there make sure no wires are stripped or nething also. Your welcome

luke I think he gets that part. I think he's questioning how to take trim piece out that holds the hazards and the rear defrost buttons.

OK so once you get the trim lose, push the til lever down. Use your foot to hold it down and begin to twist the trim to the right. It may seem like its gonna break but take a deep breath and twist. Crank that trim and it needs to almost turn 180 degrees before it pops out at the bottom of the wheel. It is hard to do but, invaluable to learn how to.

All u gotta do is lower teh steering wheel column....So u remove all teh plastic covers around the steering wheel and cluster, now u have ur black trim loose without all the buttons and stuff right?...now stick ur head near teh pedals and look up, and u'll see 2 bolts holding the steering wheel column i thinkt hey are 14mm or so they are pretty big. So take those off DO NOT loose them...then u can pull the steering wheel column down giving you more room to take the black trim out. The column will be held by springs so u gotta pull it down kinda hard. Then after u let it go it goe sback to its original position, do what ever u gotta do, put every thing back and thats it. Let me kno is u got any quesitons.

Drop the steering column, 2 14mm bolts above the pedals and 2 14mm bolts directly under the start of the dash, should be a polished bronze color(mine were anyway). After you drop the column, you can pull down one corner at a time on the shroud. Little by little it will budge, gradually bending itself in the middle, 1/2 an inch of bending is probably the limit. If you cant get it out then get a flathead screwdriver and pry down on the top, between the dash and the edge of the shroud. Pry down about 1/8 of an inch on each side every time, switching back and forth. Make sure the two clips on the bottom are undone of course. After you get the entire edge of the shroud visible on the top pull on the bottom edges till it comes loose. If you need any more help on it or the cluster PM me.

One tip for u guys with S13's like myself, when u change the gauges to white faced ones, i used a red sharpie marker to color the needles since they were white and they kinda blend in with the background...So yeah the red sharpie makes them look nice during the day time and at night time as well. Thought it would help some of u peeps out there.
