They only came in Auto. As for the other questions, I have no idea. I am sure someone else has posted somewhere though.

 

thank u for sharing your info sir. i might install manual tranny in this convertible i have. i'd love to put bigger and faster motor. not even sure why no one talks about putting 300XX motor in S13.. anyone has any ideas?

well, a 300zx motor is nice, but they are really wide, probably too much so to be used in a 240. they could probably fit, but it would be hell to work on.......

that and there are engines that are equally as capable for less that are a better fit for the car.

I don't know if he is a member of this site but a local guy Todd Napi has a white convertable with a 5 speed swap done.

I would look in your area for a guy doing a SR swap that had a KA with a 5 speed. You could score his tranny and get the pedals and shit from a junkyard.

As for the V6 how hard could it be if there are 350 powered 240s rolling around?

 

i'm in the process of doing the 5 speed transfer and a Ca motor/silva but wont be done for while

 

VG swap isnt common at all, but i was talkin to a guy when visiting a college in Virginia...he was soon gonna be swapping in one into his S14, requires a decent bit of custom work, but he actually said that from strut tower to strut tower the s14 was wider than the 300zx. He has 3 engines that he acquired, and it looks like he will have a crazy setup.

thanks for your inputs. i assume that i will need wiring harness that will work with SR or different motor right? does anyone know what will cost for those engines? i have the need for speed, lol. i hope to turn this convertible into a widebody. and make a mock up from there. still tryin to find deep dish mags. thanks agian.

Put some silvia headlights on your S13.

The wiring harness for the engine swap has to be on that was made for the swapped engine. The KA harness will only work on a KA or SR if you some work with JWT.
